Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Ratingopia. By creating an account or using our review flow, you agree to them.

What Ratingopia is

Ratingopia is a review-writing assistant for local businesses. Customers scan a QR code, select what stood out about their visit, and receive AI-drafted review text they can edit before choosing to post it to Google themselves. Ratingopia never posts a review on a customer's behalf, and never writes a review without the customer's own input.

Review authenticity and platform policies

You agree not to use Ratingopia to solicit reviews from anyone who did not genuinely visit or use your business, or to misrepresent the source of a review in any way. Ratingopia is designed so that every customer, regardless of their star rating, is always shown a path to leave a public Google review — we do not build features that hide, block, or discourage negative reviews from reaching Google, and you may not use the product to attempt to do so either.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• You must be authorized to act on behalf of the business you add to Ratingopia

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service
• Use the review flow to collect personal data from customers beyond what they voluntarily provide
• Resell or white-label the service without our written permission

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. A 14-day free trial is available and does not require a card. You can cancel at any time; your account remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which access is paused (your data is not deleted — see our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy).

AI-generated content

Review drafts are generated by AI based on highlights the customer themselves selects. Ratingopia does not guarantee the accuracy, tone, or outcome of any AI-generated text, and customers are always expected to read, edit as needed, and personally choose whether to post it.

Service availability

We aim to keep Ratingopia available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we're not liable for outages caused by third-party providers we depend on.

Limitation of liability

Ratingopia is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any consequences related to a Google Business Profile or the reviews posted to it.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including the review-authenticity requirements above.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Ratingopia after an update means you accept the revised terms.
